the magical orchid

 Is this normal?  I don't know much about plants so it probably is, but I am amazed.  Thibaut gave me this orchid for Valentine's day, and at that time it had 2 flowers on it.  I went on vacation for a week with my family and expected to come back to a dead plant, but I came back to an even prettier one.  Now it's been over a month and a half and look at this thing!  Not one dead flower.  I'm very proud of my plant-caring skills, I must say.
